Job Duties


The Quality Engineer supports the engineering team by providing day-to-day shop floor assistance and responding to quality-related issues. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with AS9100 standards and ensuring consistent product quality through inspections, testing, audits, and documentation control.

  • Support quality engineering with the development of testing and qualification instructions
  • Identify and source testing equipment and external testing services
  • Perform internal testing and maintain accurate test records and quality documentation
  • Observe and support external testing activities as required
  • Participate in scheduling and coordination of internal and external quality audits to maintain AS9100 compliance
  • Assist in site-wide quality initiatives aligned with AS9100 standards, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop and document quality metrics in support of continuous improvement efforts
  • Track and follow up on Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs)
  • Perform in-process and incoming inspections
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections as needed
  • Review and log employee training documentation
  • Support document control processes and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quality systems and AS9100 standards preferred
  • Experience with inspections, audits, and quality documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
