Create product designs by:

• Leading technical design review meetings with customer engineers while being the technical expert on the design and analysis.
• Reviewing and comprehending customer design specifications
• Communicating with customers to enable designs that solve the problem for the customer
• Analyzing performance and dimensional requirements including dimensional variation analysis

Validate product designs by:

• Setting up and operating hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test stands and equipment
• Conducting product validation tests
• Fabricate development hardware by:
• Operating manufacturing equipment
• Ordering and scheduling necessary equipment
• Monitoring project for nonconformance to cost and delivery goals

Provide support services to Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance by:

• Create/Review Product Designs for Manufacturability by:
• Considering manufacturing capabilities along with performance requirements when tolerancing

Looking for an Engineering Designer to support the Electronics Packaging department. As a member of the Electronics Packaging group, you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities:
• Support the modeling, drafting, and release of new or existing mechanical parts and assemblies related to launch vehicle avionics using Siemens NX managed with Teamcenter.
• Support the modeling and drafting of electrical printed wiring assemblies (PWA’s).
• Communicate project status to Responsible Engineers.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on the design of various system components.
• Compile digital product definition packages for final release per ASME Y14.41 - Digital Product Definition Data Practices using Siemens NX PMI and Teamcenter.
 

Key Accountabilities
The Configuration Management (CM) specialist supports engineers in complex system, software and hardware development. They are an active participant, helping the teams understand and comply with the CM aspects of the processes. During development it is important that the product life cycle data is controlled and documented correctly and consistently. When the product is ready for release, CM will assure data integrity is protected (baselined and archived) and can be retrieved. The CM specialist will also administer the CM tools and document the various baselines in the product Configuration Indices. CM ensures that changes to configured data are authorized and tracked to completion.

The CM specialist will be expected to perform the following:

• Ensure the CM aspects of development conform to the declared plans and standards.
• Maintain and explain the product and lifecycle data configuration baselines.
• Understand the integration of all plans and standards involving configuration control, change management, and the control/release of data.
• Understand data and archive media management.
• Be a quorum member of the Change Control Board.
• Enforce product and document review and approval requirements
• Continuously improve CM practices and tools

The Control System Certification Engineer is part of the Software Systems Capability function.
The Control System Certification Engineer shall liaise with control system development engineers and airworthiness authorities to create certification work products that satisfy the certification basis of the program. This will include creation of requirements, design, verification and traceability evidence for lifecycle data created during development of the control and monitoring system.

Key Accountabilities

• Capture evidence of requirement validation, use cases, design constraints, quality, safety and security attributes, etc., in certification work products.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish understanding of certification plans, work product standards and configuration management.
• Establish report generation methods to collect life-cycle data and publish for delivery to airworthiness authorities.

The candidate will be working on high fidelity simulation to design and test missile flight code. The applicant will be creating and implementing simulation models to evaluate system performance. The candidate should have extensive experience with missile flight dynamics, autopilot and guidance design and implementation into the missile flight code. The candidate should have experience with various trajectory optimization software and tools. The ideal candidate will also have experience with interceptor target state estimation, combat systems integration, and missile raid/salvo guidance optimization

Responsibilities:

• Work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, verify, and validate a missile flight simulator.

The Aircraft Proposal Technical Writer reports to the Director of Sales. Responsibilities include technical writing for proposals and contracts from inception of proposal request to approval stage, through the turnover to the RSM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review RFQ’s and Sales opportunities, interpret terms and conditions, pricing schedule details and coordination of requirements.

2. Prepare and/or assist with proposal preparation in accordance with RFQ’s/SOW’s.

3. Work with supervisors and managers for timely conclusion of contract/proposal inputs, provide advice concerning relevant issues and respond to proposal inquiries and resolve proposal related issues.

4. Consolidates writes or rewrites proposals; interprets customer guidelines to ensure compliance and confirms with Sales.
