Job Duties
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP PI/PO and CPI with demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP platforms. This role will be key in enabling seamless communication between enterprise systems and ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient data flows.
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective middleware solutions using SAP PI/PO, CPI (BTP/Integration Suite), and Axway.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP PI/PO and CPI interfaces, including custom adapters, mappings, and routing rules.
- Develop integration scenarios involving both SAP and third-party cloud platforms such as Salesforce (SFDC), Ariba, etc.
- Build B2B interfaces using EDI messages and implement microservices-based integrations.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for integration scenarios.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for SAP PI/PO, CPI, and Axway integrations.
- Maintain documentation for all integration solutions, including technical specifications and operational procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest middleware technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.Work closely with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Proactively identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO and CPI development.
- Strong understanding of integration concepts, including Web Services, REST, and Microservices.
- Proficient with PI/PO adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, etc.) and configuration.
- Experience with SAP ABAP and Java for custom development within PI/PO.
- Familiarity with SAP IDocs, RFCs, proxies, and partner profiles.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating with cloud platforms such as SFDC (Salesforce), Ariba, and others.
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite/BTP.
- Experience building microservices and working with multiple middleware platforms.
- Background as a technical SAP consultant is a plus.
- Membership in relevant professional associations.
- Demonstrated work ethic, leadership ability, and a passion for technology and customer service.
