The Long Range Assault Aircraft (LRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's LRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The LRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage in future conflicts. The Bell LRAA team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world’s next-generation military aircraft.
****The Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of IMA Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components for the Avionics software on the LRAA program.
On-Site Only. NOT Hybrid, NOT Remote.

******Position Requirements
****Experience in developing embedded software, including hardware and software integration is required.
****Must have C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment
****Must have familiarity with software DevOps processes.
**** Must have experience with Git version control system or change management systems.
****Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
****Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
****Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
****Demonstrated Communication Skills needed to brief management, customers, and/or large groups on an occasional basis.
******Position Responsibilities
****Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications
****Development of High level and Low Level Requirements
****SysML modeling of software design
****Perform Configuration Management for developed software
******Education Requirements
****Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
