Carry out engine preparation and post-test teardown
Execute inbound and outbound engine inspections and ready units for shipment
Support engineering in conducting engine tests, including taking and analyzing fuel samples
Keep the test-cell area clean and compliant with safety standards
Follow all safety rules and help foster a safety-first culture
Develop and update priority lists and repair timelines
Responsibilities may shift as test-cell requirements and management direction evolve
Must have mechanic and inspection experience in the following work scopes:
Performing borescope inspections
Prepping and de-prepping engines
Removing and installing engine components and QEC assemblies
Conducting incoming and outgoing engine inspections
Preserving engines and preparing them for shipment
Setting up engines for test runs
Troubleshooting engine issues
Running engine tests as instructed by engineering
Collecting and testing fuel samples
Powerplant license preferred but not mandatory.
Must have 3+ years of work experience in a test cell or maintenance environment.
Must have large Engine experience in a setting other than line maintenance. Military Experience is acceptable if the experience is from an engine shop background.
Experience on the following engines preferred: CFM 56, CF34, CF6, PW2000 & PW4000 & GTF, V2500, LEAP, GE90
