Job Information - Aircraft Engine Technician (ID# 2130038693)

Job Duties

• Understands and can comply with the FAA and EASA requirements of return to service engines and aircraft
• Comply with FAA, EASA, and Company Policies and procedures
• Ability to learn as well as teach others on work scopes
• Assist engineers in testing and troubleshooting equipment
• Conduct heavy lifting of equipment and materials
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy
• Maintain and update equipment records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Assist in general shop maintenance tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

• Powerplant license preferred but not mandatory. 
• Must have large Engine experience in a setting other than line maintenance. Military Experience is acceptable if the experience is from an engine shop background.
• Experience on the following engines preferred: CFM 56, CF34, CF6, PW2000 & PW4000 & GTF, V2500, LEAP, GE90
