Job Duties

• As an A&P mechanic, you will work on the entire aircraft and effectively troubleshoot our customers’ fleet of A4 Skyhawk aircraft. 
• Maintenance Technicians are responsible to the Director of Maintenance and shall ensure that the procedure outlined in FAA Regulations and manufacturer’s instructions are complied with.
• In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on corporate jet aircraft.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position.
• In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the A&P.
• The A&P is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution.  

Job Qualifications

• Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements 
• Must possess a valid FAA issued A&P Certificate
• 6+Years MRO or Fighter Jet exp
• Possess good troubleshooting skills
• Possess excellent communication and people skills
• Possess problem-solving and organizational skills
• Be willing to work a variety of shifts which may include night/third shift position including nights, and weekends.
• Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety. 
• Be at least 18 years of age 
• Possess a valid unrestricted driver license.
• Be able to read, write, and understand the English Language
• Be familiar with Company and Manufacturer Manuals
• Be able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Displays and promotes a positive attitude toward work and other employees.
