Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Electrical Diagnosis/Repair - 6+ Years
Knowledge of Basic Mechanical/Electrical Concepts - 6+ Years
Read Electrical Schematics - 6+ Years
Fighter Experience (F16,F18,F22,F35) - 5+ Years
Training in in the following areas and acceptable forms to show training complete are military records, A&P license &/or certificates of completion: FOD & Tool Control, Non-powered Ground Support Equipment, Egress Systems Familiarization, HAZMAT Storage/Handling, Aircraft records management. While not a disqualifier, if candidate lacks training in a certain area, please identify ahead of time so training can be provided before work commences
