Job Duties

  • Air-frame and Power-plant General Mechanic (AF 5-Level or equivalent). Must be able to complete all aspects of aircraft servicing, inspection, general maintenance and aircraft launch and recovery. The mechanic must be qualified to perform routine maintenance. This is for the C-130 Flight Line . Tool Box is required for this Position.
  •  Engine and Propellor Rigging strongly desired
  • Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls and modifies aircraft systems and power plants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Candidate must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, power plants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement.
  • Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Air-frame and Power-plant General Mechanic (AF 5-Level or equivalent).   • Candidate must possess at minimum, 3 years of C-130 Flight Line Experience
  • Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required
  • Candidate will provide shadowed toolbox with etched tools per minimum inventory and specifications as detailed by the company
  • A&P license is desired but not required 

Facility Description

Nose-to-tail aircraft modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both military and civil aircraft. Over the past three decades, the site has provided world class and affordable sustainment services to thousands of aircraft such as the C-130, P-3, KC-10, and C-9. The site is also home to a highly-skilled, flexible workforce of Lockheed Martin aviation technicians, engineers, program managers and other experienced personnel.
