-Applicant must have H-60 experience. H-47 experience is also welcome.
-Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
-Applicant must have experience installing and testing of electrical/avionic systems. Experience in wiring schematics and wire running of Aircraft a plus.
-Applicant must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers.
This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
-Applicant must be able to travel when required. This requirement may encompass 20% - 40% of the work year.
-Applicant must be able to work Overtime as needed.
-Applicant must be able to work multiple shifts as required for need of schedule/budget.
Desired Skills:
Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools. and applicable test equipment. Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals. Must be shift flexible and able to travel as required by program schedule and customer requirements.
