Job Duties

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Airframe and Powerplant Technician is responsible for service and maintenance of the aircraft systems, power plant, airframe and components. This includes performing inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, part replacement and repairs, as well as other routine maintenance such as fluid servicing and lubrication.
Experience with PT 6 Turbo Prop Engines, Shorts 330 or 360 Aircraft, King Air or Twin Turbo Prop aircraft desired.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance work in accordance with FAA and Company regulation
Read and interpret technical and maintenance manuals, diagrams and blueprints
Document or record all work performed using Company provided logs, task cards, forms, tags or computer systems
Research and order parts and determine appropriate repair action/s.
Assist other technicians with a variety of tasks related to aircraft maintenance and aircraft movement
FOD Control / Housekeeping Duties – Proper Storage and clean, organized work area


Knowledge and ability to use power tools
The ability to become skilled on the use of various test and ground equipment
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

Job Qualifications

  • Current A&P License
  • 3+ years experience in trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of aluminum and/or composite skinned, pressurized jet/turboprop aircraft preferred. Shorts 330/360, King Air, Pratt & Whitney PT6, and other Twin Turbo Prop Aircraft experience considered.
  • Must have turboprop and PT6 experience.
