Not sure what you want to eat? Go where the locals go and head over to The Churchill. This open-air market is super trendy, completely made out of shipping containers with cafeteria style dining in the center. Local vendors set up and sell everything from burgers to beers-to-go. Not only can you grab a bite to eat, you can take in a musical performance or stroll through the sidewalk artesian market which is held every Saturday.


What to Do in Phoenix/Goodyear

In your off time there are plenty of things to explore in Phoenix. If you want to take in local history, take a trip to Pueblo Grande, one of the largest archeological sites in Phoenix. It is also a National Historic Landmark and worth a trip. You can test your athletic abilities to their limit here as well, Phoenix has an endless supply of hiking trails where you can get up close and personal with red rocks and beautiful desert scenery and only a short 15 minute drive away is the Grand Canyon. If you're looking for a relaxing time, strolling down quaint streets and exploring unique shops a trip over to Scottsdale would be worth your while as well.
