Job Duties

Responsibilities

• Such attachments normally reflect unique aspects of specific locations, shifts, departments, etc
• Perform a variety of activities including preparation of surfaces and mixing paints
• Paint aircraft, small parts, and various surfaces according to required specifications
• Perform layout and masking as necessary
• Mix paints, primers, etc. according to specifications
• Paint major assemblies (including metal, fiberglass and composite material), detail parts, and apparatus, as needed
• Strip paint and prepares surfaces as required
• Perform miscellaneous paint operations and applies decals
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company initiatives and complies with safety regulations
• Demonstrate paint and paint preparation competencies needed to successfully complete finishing operations

• Candidates must have the ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications required
• Requires knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in painting and methods of mixing paint colors
• The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team
• Access to Export Control Information
• This job requires 3 years work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
