Description:
As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You’ll be responsible for moderately complex installations, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings  
• Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques
• US Citizenship required for this project. 

Preferred:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
• Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
• Ability to mentor and guide subordinates
• Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope. and/or Pitot static equipment
