Job Duties
- Perform composite layup using prepreg, wet layup, or dry fiber materials
- Cut, kit, and stage composite materials per work instructions
- Operate curing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, and heat blankets
- Perform vacuum bagging, debulking, and bonding operations
- Trim, drill, sand, and finish composite parts to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure quality compliance
- Document work performed in manufacturing records and quality systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, environmental, and FOD control procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing cell
- Collaborate with engineers, quality, and production leadership to resolve issues
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of hands-on composites manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred)
- Experience with composite materials and processes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work with PPE for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in composites or aerospace manufacturing
- Experience working in a cell-based or lean manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of FAA, AS9100, or aerospace quality standards
- Experience with autoclave operations and bonded structures
Work Environment
- Manufacturing floor / production cell
- May require shift work, overtime, or weekend work
- Exposure to resins, solvents, and composite materials (PPE required)

Operations include material compounding, forming, machining, kitting, and finishing, supported by in-house quality assurance and inspection capabilities. Pay
Pay Range: $35.00-$65.00
Typical Gross Weekly Take Home (for a full work week): $2,600.00
