Job Duties
- Employee must be able to perform inspection of assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
- Document discrepancies per applicable procedures.
- Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks.
- Maintain necessary documentation and records.
- Monitor and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:

- Performs quality compliance audits on designated frequency.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Accredited HS Diploma or GED and 3+ years of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all disciplines.
- Working knowledge of Boeing specifications & blueprints preferred.
- Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) .
- Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures.
- Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges.
