Job Duties


The Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance of the Client’s Quality Management System (QMS) with applicable regulatory requirements. This role develops, revises, and maintains quality processes, procedures, and program plans, including those supporting certified repair stations. The Specialist partners with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and revise Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
  • Revise and maintain the Repair Station Training Manual
  • Update the Repair Station Quality Manual to support the addition of the Flight Research Center
  • Develop a procedure for a common FAA Roster of Technicians across all Repair Stations
  • Maintain and update training records for all Repair Station employees
  • Create and revise procedures related to PC Extension
  • Update and revise Repair Station Standard Training materials in Brain Shark
  • Update and revise ARD Training materials in Brain Shark
  • Track, monitor, and support Commercial Quality Escape Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts
  • Develop and implement a Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Procedure for all Repair Stations
  • Create and revise procedures for adding the CPR/BPR Warehouse to the Quality Management System
  • Support cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives, RCCA activities, and risk evaluation/mitigation coordination
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required
  • 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience developing and writing internal procedures and creating training programs
  • Prior experience working within a 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station environment
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio)
  • Knowledge of Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including statistical analysis and project management techniques
  • Action-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with government agencies and other external stakeholders
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
