Job Duties

1. Main cabin installs

2. Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels). Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications.

3. Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.

4. Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.

5. Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used in aircraft interiors. Apply proper use of hardware and fittings on aircraft installations.

5. Assist technicians, under supervision, with aircraft maintenance requirements.

General

  • Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
  • Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
  • Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
  • Conduct operational tests.
  • Help with general clean-up of work area.
  • Responsible for accurately clocking to jobs.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Commercial MRO experience – preferred minimum three years of experience
  • Prefer Experience on 737-9, 737-8 and A220
  • Able to obtain SIDA badge
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • This client's facilities are located on  the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) with a runway of 10,801 ft. at an elevation of 1,026 ft / 312.7 m.
  • Their 607,000 sq. ft. hangar facility is capable of accommodating heavy maintenance, transitions, fleet integrations and modifications on both narrow body and wide body aircraft.
