This is a back shop doing a complete overhaul on the engine however the position we are hiring for is directly involved with doing compression tests and repairs.
Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
Disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test engine components and systems
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements
Ensure proper use, care, and accountability of tools, equipment, and parts
Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes to maximize efficiency and reliability
FAA Powerplant license required
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience doing compression tests and repairs with Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service bulletins
Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality standards
Aircraft engine overhaul facility.
