Job Duties

The Composite/Sheet Metal Mechanic performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on composite and sheet metal components of aircraft.

• Performs composite and sheet metal repairs, modifications, and fabrication.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Inspects damaged components and determines appropriate repair methods.
• Uses hand and power tools to shape and assemble sheet metal parts.
• Applies resins, adhesives, and reinforcement materials for composite repairs.
• Ensures compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Documents all work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in composite and sheet metal repair.
• Knowledge of composite repair techniques and sheet metal fabrication.
