Assembler 2-4 Yrs of Experience
The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be willing and able to work any shift. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required. Prefer candidate to have manufacturing work experience or mechanical background. Basic computer skills preferred. Physical requirements: This position requires kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, maneuvering around and working in tight confined spaces, lying on back and drilling overhead.
Works from drawings, blueprints manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and work sheets and company, military and customer specifications and procedures. Drills, edge fill, fits and assembles a variety of detail parts, skins and honeycomb details. Inspects for proper installations and integrity. Approves and stamps acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements. Performs Production Accountability duties associated with the processing, verification, quality auditing and inspection of assemblies, parts and tooling for which the individual has been delegated production accountability. Maintains necessary documentation and records. Refers any unusual problems to supervision. Keeps work areas clean and orderly. May be required to perform other related duties as required.
