Description :Responsible for a wide range of inspection functions supporting materials, sheet metal, composites, process and assembly operations. Follow programs, documents, drawings, specifications and quality standards to perform inspection functions. Perform audit/surveillance/measurement/inspection of all sheet metal/composite parts/assemblies according to specifications, processes and procedures. Initiate and document any non-conforming materials, parts, assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, process and procedures.
Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
This position is looking for experience with the following; installation, troubleshooting and repairing aircraft wiring and avionics systems using various hand tools, test equipment and technical reference materials to meet manufacturing specifications, client approved procedures, FARs, and industry standards in a safe, clean and organized work area.

A/P Mechanics -- CRJ or Embraer OR commercial experience with a stable work history. Examines, repairs, assembles, and tests aircraft accessories, such as engines, power brake units, auxiliary electric motors, spark igniters, valves, pumps, fuselage, wings, and oil and fuel tanks, using hand tools and testing devices, and following shop orders and manufacturer's specifications.
Performs routine inspections or special maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components; performs complete operations checks on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging and controls, etc.
Determines when a component should be repaired or replaced; decides upon necessary repair scheme, quantity and type of parts needed to accomplish proper repair; secures necessary parts from Stores or departmental supplies.
Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn or defective assemblies, making alterations or changes to units when necessary.
Follows approved maintenance procedures for subject component or system, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturer's (OEM's) technical data, and work package instructions.
Consults the Maintenance Lead if technical assistance is needed during the repair process.
Inspects completed work before sign off to identify any needed rework; performs rework; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
Performs serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using test equipment specified by the original equipment manufacturer.
Completes work package documentation by signing/stamping after finishing all designated operations.
Submits completed/in-progress work to Maintenance Lead for review; submits to Quality Assurance for final/in-progress inspection and re-certification of airworthiness.
Provides supervisor with performance statistics and other operational data, as requested.
Properly accounts for time and materials used in all inspection and maintenance activities.
Comply with repair station procedures (RSM /QCM) and company policies (SOP) when performing aircraft or component maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sheetmetal Mechanic with 3+ years experience on commercial aircraft.Currently looking for modification experience. Ideal candidates have commercial aircraft experience, but they are currently willing to consider commercial helicopter, regional, and large military aircraft experience as long as the experience is solid and detailed on the resume.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES: ADA Essential Functions: - Inspect, overhaul, repair, modify and troubleshoot airframe and/or powerplant parts, systems, and components utilizing approved maintenance documents. - Support engineering in developing repairs and modifications for transport category airplanes. -Assist engineers by utilizing fundamental design principals and knowledge of metals and metal fabrication. - Fabricate parts and assemblies for use in engineering modifications and repairs. These parts will be inspected to ensure the parts can be fabricated to the engineering data and FAA requirements. - Effectively communicate with aircraft engineers to transmit technical information in the development of cost effective and timely repair solutions. - Perform such typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting rigging and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation. - Repair, modify, replace or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness. - Complete all tasks to the quality standards of AeroTurbine, Inc., FAA and our customers’ approved maintenance manual. - Perform work within estimated or budgeted hours. - Read and use Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents in order to troubleshoot and effectively complete work assignments. - Ensures that AeroTurbine, Inc. and customer aircraft maintenance documents are accurate and properly annotated. - Ensures documents are returned to the Technical Library and/or destroyed, as required, after jobs are complete. - Use and operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess AeroTurbine, Inc. operating certification. - Promote a culture of safety my monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the AeroTurbine, Inc. Team Member Safety Manual. - Responsible for the proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable or condemned parts. - Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and co-workers. - Keep own and adjacent work area clean - Able to work any or all shifts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
